4WD Trips

For experianced 4 wheel drivers & vehicles only.
Some of these trips are only advised if 2 or more vehicles are travelling together.


If you would like to get right away from the tourist routes, take a day or two & experience what most travellers never see.
Travel on some of the old West Coast tracks  that the Pioneers of this country hewed out with pick & shovel, searching for gold. 



                              





Enjoy the thrill of a journey into the old gold fields of yesteryear, marvel at how the old timers found their way into these remote, barely accessible sites & how they managed to survive there & to persuade their wives & children to live in such lonely isolated areas. Must have been the unique beauty of these places! 










You will experience the breathtaking atmosphere, breathe in air so fresh like you have never experienced before. 

These tracks can be very twisty & hilly, not suitable for an ordinary car; in fact most are definitely not accessible to a saloon. 

Explore the remains of miners' homes & schools, see the remnants of how they lived & worked in these areas.
